Apocalypse Now

THE definitive film on the Vietnam conflict. Coppola's visionary take on the psychadelic aspects of combat and the ultimate visual poem to wasted, confused youth. It is both lyrical and visceral, delicate and brutal, brilliant and complex and finally essential and masterful. No film better captures the insanity and delirium of the time.

I really liked Day for Night. I have The Story of Adele H on DVD but I haven't watched it yet. I though Black Swan was fantastic. I'm not a big Natalie Portman fan, but I thought she was great.

You're welcome. I agree, Jules and Jim is great. Have you seen any other Truffaut films?
