Hey Ryan --I like your lists - from Melancholy, Deliriously surreal, Rebellion! Pop Art to John Huston, Peckinpah, P.T Anderson, Cronenberg and Malick. That would make for one helluva afternoon showing. Are you a fan of Cronenberg's Scanner's (1981)? People often say that's the film to judge whether or not you're going to like his repertoire. How about Malick's latest - Tree of Life? I've heard mixed reviews - but then again, Malick isn't for everyone. Anderson's triple treat of There Will Be Blood, Boogie Nights and Magnolia is tough to beat in any era. Cheers-> see ya around the Mubi.
