I love movies. I love watching them, talking about them, and reading about them. That being said, as much as I loooove reading forums about “Create Your Own Criterion” cover, I can also immerse myself in the lowbrow and enjoy it on an entirely different level. Movies as silly as Get Crazy, The Naked Gun, Virgin High, and Bachelor Party 2 may not be as “great” as the movies being discussed here, but they do have their place (even if it’s just on my own DVD bookshelf).
And I welcome any discussion/argument that may come my way. I promise not to get upset if you hate something I love as long as you’re willing to back it up. Heck, I don’t like Vertigo, and I realize that may get me killed in some art houses. But that’s the fun. Wheeee!
