That was toshiro mifune?!?! wow.....he sure seens to play some tiny parts in american movies, for being such an amazing and respected actor in Japan.
we need some brewsters millions
ummm I don't think gus van sant looks at this page
just horrible, the worst John Frankenheimer movie I've seen and I enjoy his films quite a bit. I just couldn't stand that English guy for some reason and Marlon Brando's costume and makeup was just ludicrous.
Bono is not ken kesey, such casting is madness....
Ringo Starr in a Spaghetti Western?????? this must be seen
This movie is fantastic I prefer the title dead alive though. I couldn't believe what I was seeing the first time I'd saw it, makes most Modern horror movies designed to gross out seem tame in comparison.
I am glad to see bakshi on here but we need some coonskin/street fight that would have to be my favorite bakshi film
blasphemy
I would like to see gardens of stone on here, it was an interesting film about vietnam and the military without ever showing any combat..and youth without youth was interesting much better then the curious case of benjamin buttons with which it had a similar plot.
terrific cartoon strip?? It's like power rangers only slightly more formulaic...
what about the Falcon and The Snowman, I thought that was quite a good film, that should be on this site...
This movie was pretty entertaining at first but then fell flat in the last 45 minutes when I realized I was just waiting for more spanking which never occured and I go t nothing else out of this film but the enjoyment of seeing something unusual in the movie...
A quality adaptation of Gaiman's book, my only complaint is that keith david had too few lines and was not mentioned on this page as part of the cast....
I have never seen the "movie" version, but his live tv movie version of Days of Wine and Roses was quite excellent, I would like to see that up on this site....
This has to be the most ridiculous carpenter horror film, normally I love them but this one just went in the wrong direction for me. SPOILER...........................................................................................Something about vengefull lepers coming out of a roving mist chasing thier stolen gold just makes me chuckle.....
Amazing documentary on the strange, disturbing, and hilarious life of robert crumb and his family, makes me understand mor of why crumb drew some of the strange things that he did and realize that his description of himself in his comics is in no way an exaggeration. It's nice to see one of the most interesting and bizarre artists of the 1960's treated with respect in this film.
For those of you expecting an artistic masterpiece, I must remind you this is a quentin tarintino film and despite how much I enjoy his films, they are little more than highly stylized entertainment with some interesting dialouge......some of you seem to be expecting something much different, I enjoyed the film greatly for being a well shot, sadistic, hillarious, parody of war films.
Only Michael Bay could make a movie with Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thornton, Keith David, and Steve Buscemi and make it so horrible...
What about the Thing indeed or Escape From New York; both are obviously superior to Halloween
Where's A Fistfull of Dynamite/Duck you sucka, this film should be included for it is excellent
Dumbo?!?! I wouldn't exactly this a deep film but I guess the crows are an interesting depiction of racial stereotypes...strange this would be included before anything by ralph bakshi or Akira.
