What did I just watch? The first half is on boring rich people having boring rich people problems, the second half is... what is it?
To me it looks like Von Trier's idea of eccentric and authorial is becoming mixing pretentious storylines with genre movies, and if it worked in Antichrist, here IMHO fails and just delivers a perfectly crafted film in which nothing happens. Except, you know, the end of the world.
