Pixar are like the masters of animation industry and please…..
Dreamwork is not even 50% of what Pixar makes man…..Pixar is far more technologically advanced and look at the stories they make….
I guess for me Red Beard is some movie that i would like to put whole energy to…..
There are many like i want to make a movie on Notes from Underground by Fyodor Dostoevsky and also have written a script for it….
I also have a dream project i have written about the mind of high school student and his struggle to fight isolation by the society……
I would like to redirect Clockwork Orange,AI…
I would like to make a neo futuristic version of Seven Samurai,Yojimbo and Sanjuro
and tell abt the project….i have many in my mind
Not at all…..
I was introduced to Kurosawa,Renoir,Godard,Tartovsky and many other directors movies at age of 10…
And by the age of 14 i got so much into world cinema…
Its actually an old notion that maturity in cinema comes though age and criticism…
But i like to change it as the maturity in cinema comes with exposure and the appreciable mindset for cinema as an art form……..
Interest in cinema for me begin when i was 8,the time when i saw a completely different movie which was different from the routine commercial movies i used to see…That movie was-The Reservoir Dogs…
The most captivating thing i liked in that movie was that it had a brilliant screenplay combined with a great film making style with a touch of pop culture….
After sometime somewhere around when my age was 10,
My dad used to get these films like Stalker,Red Beard etc which made me so fascinated towards cinema that Kurosawa and Tartovsky were my gods those times….I used to take my digital video camera and used to shoot many things in black and white and used to feel like a master thinking why i actually shot that thing…..
I would really thank my dad for inducing this interest in me by providing sources of world cinema…
Then i got introduced to many masters of cinema like Kurosawa,Tartovsky,Renoir,Godard and to name many……
From then for me, movie festival becomes a perfect hangout place than a local cinema and chatting with a critic or a cinema enthusiast about a classic or a movie became more important that chatting with my girlfriend….
