Watches films, collects films, writes music for films, adores the darkness of a cinema.

Has collaborated and worked on many cinematic projects over the years, from his 90th birthday gift to Antonioni, ‘52 Spaces’ re-scoring Godard’s Alphaville, and most recently Alain Resnais blessing his re-scoring of his short films from the 1950s.

Most recently he scored British film director Andrew Kötting’s film This Our Still Life (2011)

As Visiting Professor at Le Fresnoy France he has scored and designed the sound for many young filmmakers from Korea, Japan, France, UK and beyond.

Cinema remains firmly in his bloodstream.
