I’m a from El Paso Tx, border town with Cd. Juarez Mexico..I teach film at the main Universidad Autonoma de Cd. Juarez. I first got into film when i was about 4 years old, I used to watch, The karate Kid, Big Trouble in Little China, and Howard the Duck, over and over and over again, later i discovered better films, like, Los Olvidados by Luis Buñuel, and that’s what really got me into film. I took Film classes at the University of Texas at El Paso and from there I’ve been studying film to a more professional level. I make short videos and my favorite cinema is the Asian cinema. my favorite auteur is Wong Kar Wai because i relate to his sensitivity and his sense of lost love and more important, his style and his vision to make us part of the little world and characters he creates..Kubrick is also one of my top auteur, Tarantino and Scorsese are also favorite directors, but someone who really gets to me is Kim Ki Duk, i truly love his work, amazing photography and amazing rawness to his stories.
