Well, actually, nothing too special. I bought Bottle Rocket on Amazon, along with 2001 (only eight dollars!) on Blu-ray recently. Um... I Netflixed Anvil: The Story of Anvil which I thought was very moving and inspiring. I have In the Realm of the Senses from Netflix but I haven't watched it yet. Today I'm supposed to get Drag Me To Hell, and at the top of my Netflix queue is the start of Rohmer's Six Moral Tales, which I've been putting off for years now. It's time to see those. So, basically, nothing too exciting. I feel like I'm in a bit of a drought with my movie watching. There are a bunch of William Castle movies on TCM tonight. I'll DVR those. So, what have you been watching?
Cool, Tetro films is following you! I liked it a lot too and would definitely consider a second viewing, although seeing it in the theatre was a real treat and I'm not sure if a DVD viewing at home would be quite as visually enjoyable.
Yes I've seen both of them and most of Balabanovs films. I was born in the Ukraine, so I basically grew (or am growing) up on that kind of films, too. His soundtracks are great, he is as talented as Tarantino when it comes to that. It's kinda funny that yesterday I wrote that he should get more attention from this site and today they added like four of his films. Have you seen Cargo 200`?
