Even though I have more of his work in my collection than I'd like to admit (and I like it for what it is, minus the Grindhouse crap), I still can't stand his ratty face. Nothing personal! ;)
I understand the debate around it, I understand it, but it was so bloody painful to go through the motions. And wasn't most of the violence unnecessary? I enjoy Passolini, but, just like after watching Gaspar Noe's productions, I just want to slit my wrists a little.
The weirdest movie I have ever seen
I absolutely loved this movie; was in an erratic mood for the rest of the day; going to see it again; love the black & white present and extra vivid flashbacks to the past.
