About Me

Life as Fiction: Commentaries on Film / Everything Else

“Anyone who falls in love is searching for the missing pieces of themselves. So anyone who’s in love gets sad when they think of their lover. It’s like stepping back inside a room you have fond memories of, one you haven’t seen in a long time.” —Kafka on the Shore, Haruki Murakami

Admittedly, I saw that quite a while ago and didn't really feel for it. But of all the Kubrick films, that is one I'd love to revisit. I've been waiting for it to play on the big screen, so as soon as I get that chance, I'll jump on it.
