About Me

My name is John S. and I am a Action Movie Addict. I love Intense, High-Octane Movies; like Crank. I love slow, nice Drama’s with a compelling story. I believe the Saw series is one of the worst pieces of shit that has ever reached the Cinemas. I love my smooth, beautiful Fincher Epic. The Horror Genre is go to hell, and I don’t mean the holy shit scary hell, I mean the shity Micheal Bay Produced Horror Film. The Romance Genre has given way to the not-so funny Romantic-Comedy, we need an another Woody Allen Director to come in and start making funny, compelling, believable Romantic-Comedies. The only good animated movie-makers are the people down at Pixar. The Action genre still has good directors, like Micheal Mann, Tony Scott, and Bryan Singer, and oh how I love my action. While one of my favorite film-makers, Oliver Stone, needs to get back on the coke, and don’t mean the polar bear one either, because let’s face it Oliver Stone does his best work while he’s on the white powder. While my least favorite film-maker, Micheal Bay, who has some how made the shit-hole that is Hollywood a little more shity, but that reminds me of my second most hated film-maker Joel Sheumacher, who has not made a good movie since, Falling Down. While David Lynch continues to be that love-able, old crazy uncle that we all keep hidden from the light of day, may David Lynch continue the never-ending mind-fuck that is his career. And the endless trip of Terry Gilliam, may he continue forever and forever.

My Motto:
“If it can be written, or thought, it can be filmed.”- Stanley Kubrick

It's not his best over all obviously, but its a better one than most of his others. Mind you he's not even my favorite auteur, but he's enjoyable.
