Parents – Bob Balaban
Fellini’s Casanova
Martin – George Romero
Bigger than life – Nicholas Ray
Britannia Hospital – Lindsay Anderson
I stand alone – gaspar noe
I try and catch every possible movie i can, in one day i saw a reelease of “Jeanne Dielman, 23 Quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles” and bride wars. i dont really care, a movie is a movie, its all a form of escapism for me
i think it depends on the theaters, like in L.A somewhere like the arclight/AMC those are nice theaters you can pick the seats you want, the theaters are in excellent conditions but Vancouver, a place like tinseltown where there a little run down, the’re not as enjoyable for me.
but overall it beats watching movies on a little ass t.v with poor sound quality
Monster squad
The adventures of baron Munchausen
Slaughter High
Morgan Stewart’s Coming Home
ghostbusters 1&2
Never ending story 2
Meatballs 4
wargames
Rock n Roll high school Forever
Hiding out
Flight of the navigator
Josh and S.A.M.
Airbourne
Gleaming the Cube
Gone with the wind
Touch of Evil
Top Gun
Rocky (all of them)
Rambo (all of them)
Star wars episode 2 & 3 but after phantom menace i wished i missed that one too
im not sure this counts but with the exception of shoot the piano player and jules and jim i have never seen any other Truffaut film. nor do i want too
I didnt know if this thread already existed but i thought it would be different than the hundreds of best criterion or what deserves to be criterion, so with the exclusion of Micheal bay and Kevin smith what are the worst films criterion has put out and i say that with complete love for criterion
I think Todd Field’s first two films are masterpieces i know he got alot of critical praise and some good box office for in the bedroom, but i think little children was extremely overlooked by the public.
Parents with randy quiad although i think its more of a black comedy, regardless it deserves to be on the list, as well as Re-animator, Cementary man, Martin by George Romero
Also the Evil dead trilogy in a nice box set would be pretty sweet
