I love cinema. And if cinema is a hot woman I want to make love to every day for the rest of my life, Hollywood is that woman’s pussy fart.

I promise I'll stop clogging your wall eventually. I have just a bit more information that needs to be feed through to Dimitris and it may even be of interest to you. There seems to be various cuts to numerous Angelopoulos films ranging from seconds to twenty or so minutes. Unfortunately I can't penetrate the depths of the internet because information is so scarce. From what I can gather, Angelopoulos owns the rights to all his films but there so many versions out there that it seems even Theo had issues making sense of all the versions before he passed away. Is there anyway to amass information on these cuts? How long are the running times on the Greek DVD's for example, because the information provided on the boxes may give some semblance to what Theo wanted and would be a great start. Thanks!
I feel like I should dress up like a big fat ugly aunt and try to give you a big sloppy, saliva-ridden kiss on the cheek just to see you cringe in horror and recoil with a scream of terror. You realize I'm teasing you on the Drive thread, right? You are the perfect person to tease. You'll realize this when you get old like me. You just can't see it right now. Buttons, my ass. ;)
This sounds like an odd question but I'd really appreciate it you'd indulge me for a moment. I'm attempting to do research on the run time of Angelopoulos' The Hunters and need to know if nudity is censored on Greek television. Seeing as Dimitris can't respond I don't really know where to turn to and I know you can contact him outside of MUBI. If I'm correct a full version of the film no longer exists in it's longest ( in this case a negative is damaged). The prints circulating online are censored but they are complete. The only info I can gather is that the prints stem from a television broadcast VHS rip in Greece. Could you ask him if censoring would have occurred on Greek television in the 1980s or anytime after that?
