“well let’s face it, it never really made much sense that objects that heavy should become lighter than air. but as with many pre-existing phenomena we sort of work backwards to come up with scientific justification. the so called Brunulli effect postulates that air currents set into rotation beneath a wings surface create a vacuum, producing lift and so forth. it that sounds like a load of crap that’s because well, it is. but we needed an explanation. we all feared than one day it would just cease to function, that common sense would prevail and the whole theory of flight would collapse. and today of course that’s exactly what’s happened. flight no longer works. i should also point out that i have grave doubts about electricity.”

i don’t think competing post offices would be so bad. i could charge 4 cents less for stamps and still make a killing. anyway, i consider myself a constitutional libertarian for the most part.
and why not discuss topics like this on this forum. i only visit two forums but i visit this one the most. why go to a different forum for every time you want to discuss something non-film related. i like the people here…for the most part. i prefer to discuss any topic with friends rather than strangers. making this forum strictly film would not be very libertarian….. you fascist. but really, when looking over the list of topics, it is so very easy to not click on one that doesn’t interest you. and to call a non-film related topic a waste of time on this site is just rediculous. a waste of time for who. do you really want to tell people how they should spend their time? i’m just saying. by the way these are the libertarian filmmakers that i found, Sam Longoria, Clint Eastwood, Tommy Chong, and the south park guys. got any more?
Dead Man. i love the look on Blake’s face as he’s floating away. uplifting in an existential sort of way. also i don’t want credits. i would prefer the last thing i see to be a picture, not scrolling text.
