I just read your first Criterion Junkies post and boy I've been waiting ages for a Criterion release of Repulsion. All Polanski movies have shitty releases to tell the truth. Have you SEEN the Chinatown DVD? It's a travesty!
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner.... Le Samourai isnt on Region 2 but the rest of Melville's films are which is a little odd. I must try and watch the rest of The Army of Shadows soon . Ashes of time is on here I think so you can review it or something...I must get round to watching it aswell. As for Spirt of the Beehive..I haven't seen it yet but should do as I've been doing a Spanish course and have exams soon so it'll be good to watch it. I've heard it's pretty good I've got Lust,Caution to watch tonight....I hear there's several half naked shots of Tony Leung...^_^ Have you seen it yet?
