Matt Prigge is a film (and sometimes other) critic and journo who has written for Philadelphia Weekly since the year 2000. His writing has also appeared in Metro, Nerve, Nashville Scene and Phawker. He’s blogged the Philadelphia Film Festival twice, ran a weekly interview column and spoken on various panels, radio shows and podcasts. He’s currently hard at work co-writing a screenplay about which he’s being intensely secretive but which may or may not be a heist pic loosely based on “Tess of the D’Urbevilles.” The Australian Shepherd he lives with hates him like nothing has ever hated him and likely ever will. Because he’s kindly. He likes bourbon.
