This is one of the most honest, entertaining and moving films I've seen. It astonishes me that it hasn't had wider distribution. See it if you have a chance!

Just screened it in TriBeCa, great film, three separate rounds of applause during the closing sequence and credits, and just talking about it during the Q&A brought one audience member to tears while asking his question.

Everyone needs to get over the "surprise" and focus on how well this film is made and how many other elements there are than the "plot machinations" as Glenn Kelly put it. If you're only paying attention to the narrative of a film you shouldn't even be using this website.

If Elliot Smith forcefully sodomized A Devil Wears Prada on stage and the resulting blood and fecal matter dripped down a hackneyed stripper pole onto the ashy remains of a Coen Brothers' movie, you'd get Up in the Air.
