I just saw two unrelated, but related documentaries. "Beautiful Daughters" and "Leigh Bowery". The first documents transgendered women who come together to work with Eve Ensler to create The Vagina Monologues with Trans women stories. It was moving and enlightening. The Leigh Bowery film was wild. He was wild and provocative. In the end he died from aids. The crashing together of performance art, fashion, dance music, club, and gay culture all rolled up in this one man!
