Intensely disturbing and a huge step up in terms of depth and maturity from his last film Daniel & Ana. The performances are completely believable in this tense family drama of a father and daughters grieving further complicated by a case of bullying that's rapidly spiraling out of control. re:Anatolia, cool, make sure you post some feedback on it, because i can't make any of the screenings myself unfortunately. One session just sold out today--took long enough!! I'm guessing the fact that it is part of the 'crime' section that it's getting more attention than it probably otherwise would, but still, sessions are only selling out after two weeks. Makes sense. That director isn't a name here. None of his films have been released locally on dvd as far as i'm aware. I've heard the film is even 'slower' than usual.
