Damnation was my firts Béla Tarr film…then came Satantango, i was so inspired and inmerse in this film for months. Then came, Werckmeister Harmonies and i knew that Béla was a genius…after seeing all his films just confirmed it….what’s your take on him?

Foreign by far, form and content are different and in my opinion superior. Im not saying that America’s Indie movements are not to be considered but i will pick a European film hands down than an american film. Hollywood is not even worth taking, theyre just there for the buck. Foreign films not only show you a different world but they show it to you in a different way.
