A lot of people are calling this a "masterpiece" so I'm pretty anxious to see this.
Can't wait to see this
Turn a fuckin' light on, Clint.
It's called just "Hugo" now
The trailer makes it look like a war film lol
I'll be the apologist for this movie. I think I watched it hundreds of times as a kid. It's just one of those movies...
Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy are good but that's about it.
It will zoom up They Shoot Pictures' Top Films of the 21st century list, maybe even passing The Hurt Locker.
I just came up with an interesting screenplay idea inspired by Wong Kar-wai's 2046 and taking the red eye on new year's eve. If anyone wants to hear it, message me.
Due Date???
Well shot and acted, but the narrative drags just like in the book. The Second part will be epic
Felt like half of a good movie to me. The CGI in the first scene was awful. I'm also getting tired of Eastwood's minimalist film scores. It worked great for Million Dollar Baby but thats about it. The ending was also pretty bad, similar to Spielberg's War of the Worlds ending. NOTHING happened in this film, nothing deep was said or done.
Refreshing to see a non-weirdfest Lynch film
Some people will like anything Lynch throws at a wall
The Social Network perfectly describes life in the 2000's as the internet and social networking sites became a ubiquitous and essential part of every day life.
My favorite film from the 2000's (by far) and one of my top 10 favorite films of all time
FINALLY
Maybe the worst film I've seen this decade
Probably one of the top 5 most underrated American films released this decade.
What he said
While Levitt's performance is riveting, Brady Corbett's is utterly boring.
Where is Almost Famous?!?!?!?!?
I agree with Moonmaster9000, probably the horror film of decade.
The little movie that could
This is a contrived documentary. Kobe Bryant knows the cameras are on him and that every word he speaks is being heard. Essentially what you are watching is a basketball game with Kobe on his best behavior.
