Gon, I have posted some October material on my facebook page and every time I come across that picture of Paula Bak I stop and gaze at those magnificent eyes. That, of course, is what great screen acting is all about, and you are lucky to have her in your cast. I hope she and you will be going very far. Good luck. Bob
Hey Bob! Thanks a lot once again! She's a great talent, and a wonderful person. The tricky thing about "October" is that the whole film is going to be shot from the Subjective Point of View of Ola (meaning Paula Bąk), so we're only going to be able to see her and her beautiful eyes for 10 seconds on screen, at the point where she looks at herself in the mirror. But I really think that those eyes are going to make an impression on everyone. I'll keep you updated with more news this week. Best! Gon
Thanks, Gon, for warning about October's POV. If I had gone to see it expecting to see much of Paula Bak and her eyes, I would have been deeply disappointed. Now that I am prepared, I'll be ready for it. The subjective POV is a fascinating device that I have seen used very effectively throughout a number of short films, but does not seem to quite work in a entire feature length film. I see that yours is described as short. Stay well. Bob.
