This movie could have been a real blow away, cause the opening scene is just brilliant, but after it turns into a actual story, everything vanish. The beautiful camera work, not developed script, not developed interactions...

Mo'nique-outsdanding performance! Really worth seeing just because of her, if not for else, but it's not that bad either.

I was a bit careful with my expectations today, when i went to watch this movie, because everywhere i looked about this film it was just best of the best written about it. But i have to say i was far from dissapointed...it really is a cinematic giant, and has all the right to hold a title as one of the best ever done. For my opinion it's not the best, but still damn good. The transitions to the past and back to present were really nice. The ending specially is pretty worth mentioning, even though i knew how it will end far before it came to the end, but it was still done with that beautiful lightness and perfection. Indeed a great film.

On some parts so god damn funny and perfect, on the other so cliché and pathetic. Characters are just so bizarre in their unique and somehow likable way, but on some parts the dialogs didn’t seem developed enough. At one point you just have to love it's dark humor, on other hand, the structure of some shots just irritates you. But all in all, it is worth watching and it leaves you without regret seeing it, but not totally satisfied.

So overdramatic!

God damn is this movie great!

Ok, now we're waiting on Football Factory, one of the most realistic football hooligan films, wich deserves to be here.

And also i have to agree with Kaifu, cause seeing this screenshot makes it totaly unwatchable.

I have to say i was quite disappointed, cause some friend recommended this film as really good. First half of the film, where tension is being raised is rather good, but once you know, what "the game" is all about, you know the story. Its just to predictable and to cliché. Some camera work in the film is done quite nice, and black and white technique gives a bit more charm to it, but it's still not a good movie.

I would have given it four stars but the visuals were done really poorly in some scenes, specially the scenes on the water and cliffs so i just cant. Story itself is not that bad, but I would have expected bigger twist or at least more developed breaking of the story at the end.

i was between 2 and 3, but ok, let's say it had some nice touches. But in general it was just to "fight club-ish" if i'm honest...and i was not that impressed by Bale's performance, as with what he needed to do with his body for this movie...sick.

Yes, i agree that it's one of the best performances by Sandra Bullock, but come on, it's not Oscar winning performance. Movie itself it just again one of those "born in the ghetto-becomes a star, a lot talking about god" movies...

Apart from Marcovics performance film is nothing special. It just let you know what type of people you should be afraid of, very afraid of, no mather the system you are living in.

I'm not big fan of animated movies, but this one is exception of it's own. Such a beautiful characters, lovely story, naive and to some point stupid, but in one word just perfect. I also loved Harvie Krumpet, but this one is pure winner from Elliot. On of best in 09.

I really didn’t expect such a good adaptation of the book, cause the story isn’t so easy to put in movie. But it turned out really good actually. Specially the second part of the film (after they leave the underground bunker) is much better, cause characters then are really starting to deeper their characteristics. Also the atmosphere is done really good and you really have that apocalyptical feeling.

I respected Polanski until now, but now I simply love him. This surly will be one of the most amazing cinematic rides for everyone that goes for it. And yes, go for it!! Goosebumps!

Symphony!

Brilliant film, but the only thing that was done really stupid is the language of the film. Why did polish talk english? That was a bit funny and not well thought out, cause it comes out stupid.

Although, it had some moments and things that i actually really like, but still cant get rid of the feeling of " already seen".

As bizarre as bizarre can get. If Gopnik would have lost it in the movie, it would just be expected, but here, it just drives you crazy as hell. Also funny as hell, and great movie as hell. And in the end, the hell is what they probably got. Totally discussable.

So disturbing, so pure. I don’t remember anymore when i saw a movie when i nearly cried watching it, here i almost did. It so intense, so real, so inhuman in human way. Truly masterpiece by Haneke. Again.

Not bad at all, far from the point that i would write love it, but still pretty nice job. Camera work descent, on some part rather really good, story is a bit sloppy and characters could be a bit more developed, but in general, i think until now, it's the best Oscar nominee i watched so far, but the decision has already been done and I’m sorry for Kathryn cause she did a pretty nice job, at least better than Cameron

When moving camera gets totally different meaning. It was probably the most frightening two hours of my life.
