New York state is the only part of USA i've set foot on- at Niagara for 1 1/2 hours, and i was surprised to see a lone Welsh flag on a cabin there!

I actually don't live in Poughkeepsie anymore. It's not a very nice city, but the surrounding areas(Mohonk Mountains, Minnewaska, Catskill Mountains, and the Hudson Valley/River)are all very beautiful. Many people don't realize that New York state is largely rural, and not a city! Anyway, I live in Norwich, Norfolk, in the UK now. I see you live in Wales.

Ah, thanks to your follow, i've been looking up Poughkeepsie, "the reed covered lodge by the little-water place" apparently. Sounds quite poetic amid the hustle and bustle and tall buildings

El Secreto de sus Ojos, as one of your favourites. Love that, and did love that film too. "I know me, you dont know me", AAHHA. That's a great quote. Me, I'm not even sure I know myself, at times...wow, you saw Arena (where did you stumble upon it?)

"El Secreto de sus Ojos" really is an excellent film. I actually watched Arena on Mubi(it costs a dollar). I liked it but was a little disappointing by the ending
