you are being historically unfair. LOL LOL.
a delicate gay film. Poetic and enigmatic.
at least it works as a comedy....laughed so hard at the theater.
One of the finest film writings on musical http://t.co/csl9XZaX (Raymond Durgnat on this film)
which person do u own?
maybe this film can sum up what Mizoguchi tries to say about women more verbal than his other films. The maid is arguably the most important character here.
Swanberg has a way to not make his characters distant with the viewers as in other films. But the more the characters confused (of what they really want) with themselves, the more he takes us--the viewer--to look inside ourselves. And I think while technically this film isnt polished, the way he edited and put sequence clearly shows he knows how to make drama out of small emotional occurences.
watch this lunatic animation XD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQkJFiqjdc0
im getting impatient when watching a kid cries in a movie.
YAY Cannes 2012!!!!
watch it with Joris Ivens' Phillips Radio and Haanstra's Glass.
film essay extraordinaire!!!
how to measure your faith depends on where u r standing right now...
in the vein of Frederick Wiseman and Werner Herzog, and as intimate as a Nicolas Philibert film, this is the tale of an overcast and brimful hope and sadness overlapping each other with the beautiful background of Mount Semeru. A masterwork of contemplating cinema...
oh preogressing time, in sports u kept showing ur weaknesses to reach perfection. But in the real of a woman's life, the more u try reaching perfection, some wounds and weaknesses will be revealed...
Coco Rosie's songs are beautiful here!!!
A triple bill with A Woman Under the Influence and Blue Velvet would be nice :)))

BRILLIANT!!! More people need to watch this film. A woman placed in the middle of his shattered marriage, a hope for a new love, and to nurture other young people's love. It's always easy to give advices to other people or being admired. But when it comes back to your own problem, there lies Villaverde's genius!!!
HYPNOTIC!!!!
thanks God, Garin took this project and not someone else. His directing is precise, somewhat poetic in the characters ' movement and his observations are thorough. An eye opening processes into the mind of the people who were involved in the act of terrorism, or its effects on the surrounding.
no MIKE LEIGH!!! and only a glimpse about John Cassavetes???
His epic trailer for the upcoming film SOEGIJA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWSdt3paIw8&feature=player_embedded
