I missed this movie in Cannes but everyone walking out said it was intriguing and quite good. I hope I get to see it soon!
I love this movie
It all began with parents' good intentions to protect their kids and this film shows how impossibly out of control it gets (including prostitution, and incest). The entire audience at the Cannes premiere was quickly hooked, mesmerized by how f-cked the family was, and for good reason: the film won the Un Certain Regard prize.
An action flick that turns comic by the end. Some of it was brilliant, but for the most part it is just entertaining.
If you love poetry, you'll love Bright Star. If you're immune to the magical spell of Keat's words, it's a one-dimensional love story where all supporting cast might as well be furniture, 60 min too long.
A great film. A tough reality, beautifully shot.
Magic every 5 minutes and a real treat to see such a realistic Pixar film in 3D!
Wow. The 5 min standing ovation at Cannes premiere was well deserved. You can't know how good you had it growing up till you see this movie.
The skipping was fixed yesterday afternoon. Apologies for the error!
