Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

Absolutely in love with this film & perplexed by the overwhelming hate towards it. Everything about it blew me away, and I can't wait to see it again. Haven't felt such affection for a character in awhile...Von Sydow and Horn give amazing performances. The film feels so natural, raw and honest. I'm not a sucker for schmaltzy films, this really knocked it out of the park for me. Saw 180 films in 2011, this is top 10
