Exceptional, absolutely exceptional. It's a rarity to see a film that really respects the intelligence of its audience and to see a every single member of it's cast act to such a high degree. Wonderfully crafted, expertly directed and a film which will stay long in my memory for a while. I'm sure will be up for several Oscar nominations and rightly so.

Words can not describe how much this film disappointed me. So so wrong....

This is such an underated film. Well directed and a brillianr soundtrack. Also tells a tale which feels very real indeed. The tension in this films is unbelievable and that's not only due to the brilliant direction but the creepy and brilliant performance by Robin Williams.

An excellent film but casting Cameron Diaz was just wrong...!

I really wanted to give this 4 and a half stars as that's what I felt after I viewed the film. The film is, despite what some people may say, brilliantly made and the cast is just spot on. Being a Star Trek fan it's just what I wanted. The opening sequence is brilliant...I was a little blown away by how good it really was. I'm proud to say I absolutly loved this film. Looking forward to the second film...

I really wanted to give this film 3 1/2 stars as it deserves it. Better than Ocean's 12 and funnier too....

This is such a well crafted film and one of the best of the noughties. So underated and includes a great performance from Casey Affleck. I just think this film is pure perfection for me and stunning to watch...and one memorable soundtrack.

I have to admit that I really enjoyed this. The chemistry between the two leads is imense and Salles beautiful photographs the landscape of Brazil superbly. You get the sense of how isolated the country can get and how a boy can change the personality of an aging woman. Now I must watch more of Salles' work.

Can we have more Scorsese films on here?! I mean Taxi Driver isn't the only critically acclaimed film of his! What about Mean Streets or Raging Bull?

One of the best films I have ever seen. Totally blew me away on first viewing with lush lansacpes of Japan and some fine directing by Coppola. Contains Bill Murray's greatest performance for me and just outstanding all round. It's diffcult to describe how much this film inspired me but I'm just you can tell by my review. Highly recomended-5 stars
