Those two are his absolute best in my opinion. However those not withstanding, gotta give it to “La Strada”. This was the first Fellini film I ever saw, because I read an interview with Spike Lee commenting on how much he loved it. I rented it in college and saw the whole “Circus People/Culture” theme which Fellini returned to in other works. To me, it’s his third best film.
