I watched Seeing Other People (2004) just to try something different. It wasn’t good, but tolerable. It didn’t seem like any acting was taking place, just a bunch of people who seemed to behave as they would on a regular basis. Except for the post-Harvard blond crackhead.
Last night, though, I watched Sex and Lucia (2001) which was great. And then One Missed Call 2 (2005) which sucked (to say the least) compared to the 1st one.
basically all fo the last hour of Boys Don’t Cry makes me cry, I can’t help it. And it’s really hard for a film or novel etc. to do that, let alone every time.
All of these replies make me wonder about the film and how i reacted to it. I saw Raging Bull for the first time yesterday and have had it on my mind all night and day, I thought it was beautifully done and that the writing was great, such natural dialogue. And the musical score. I don’t know. I feel that if I watched it again right now it would pull me in even deeper. I wouldn’t think that a biopic about a boxer, of all people, would have seemed to completely good to me, but it was, and is.
what did you watch today? almost 3 years ago
