I think the Béla Lugosi film is worthy of its classic status - but only in as far as Lugosi's performance is concerned, the other stars, especially the romantic leads are appalling - a problem with most films of the thirties. The sets are excellent however. This Spanish version sounds very intriguing... Transylvanian Hispanic guitar?
