The dubbing ruined the happy and peaceful flow of the film... especially tragic when dubbing over the voices of the few remaining native Siberians.

I'm not so convinced about it, I saw it dubbed in english with subs and the dubbing didn't upset me, but I can't say the reason of this choice, maybe in order to mantain in the dialogues a sort of epic tone, as Herzog/narrator's voice.. I don't know indeed.
