About World Literature 500

Great list, I'm an avid reader and always fascinated by film adaptations. In fact this list was also really informative as I had no idea that some of my favourite films here - To Live, Red Cliff and Farewell My Concubine - were actually books, so thanks for that. I'd be hard pushed to list my favourite adaptations but right up there is Sense and Sensibility which almost improved on the book ( If that isn't heresy) Death in Venice, The House of Mirth and....I won't go on. Thanks again.
