Very shallow. The lead character is just plain dumb, the dialogues are futile, and the best parts are a loan from The Deer Hunter. It has some oppressive feel, debtor of french noir, Murnau or even Polanski. But it isn't quite enough to carry all the foolishness of the not-so-promising debut by Babluani (he has done a US remake with Mickey Rourke and that reveals a lot).
