thought this was gonna be one way, but it was entirely the other way: the one time I watch a French movie going in & expecting the Sapphic love affair, but then it doesn't happen. still, no one does sexual coming-of-age stories like the French: salty blonde hair, bare legs, sun & ships & tie-dye.
