Haha, how did I know Malick would take the cake. I'm thinking some possible Oscar nominations maybe even a win for Malick this time? (Not that Oscars are worth a damn, but they bring attention sometimes to films that don't get much)

    as far as giving attention to smaller films, perhaps 'Hurt Locker' and 'Letters From Iwo Jima' could possibly apply to that rule. However, a nomination alone doesn't do much to help films financially unless they win (at least in the short term)
