An excellent performance by Dustin Hoffman cant overcome a bad performance by Loren Dean, who's vapid toothy grin is irritating enough that I spent most of the film hoping that somebody would knock a few of them out. He looks like Richard Thomas after a lobotomy. I call the film Billy Mumford.
