About
Two in the Wave
Alright doc on the ratpack of art-house film.Thing is all "ratpacks" tend to die out,end and break up after a while. Godard never quite forgave Truffaut's selling out. I get him. It's hard. Life's too short. Truffaut wanted the mainstream bad. He was mainstream. Godard never was. Even when he was hip he still was an outsider. He was just riding a commercial wave. Ship's sailed. Truffaut's dead Luc's still THE genius.
