About ALICE GUY-BLACHÉ, QUEEN OF THE PIONEERS
seeing madame.s follies, i was wondering what is the last film i saw that portrayed pregnancy with such natural warmth, sympathy, humor. i realized i saw none such film or i don.t remember. pregnancy and birth are usual troubled clinical states, with nausea, pains, disgruntleness and nightmares, lynch-majewski strangeness or pipilotti rist detailed discomfort. but this kind of aggressive representation does not make the female body closer or easier to accepts in its process of generating life. quite the opposite. like in making love, there is more to birth and pregancy than pure anatomy of liquid and smooth textures of internal organs. thank you for the short :)
