About
The Tree of Life
Undoubtedly beautiful, but again, yawn. I'm a little bored with films about the inexplicable woes of an upper-middle class, very well-dressed white family with archetypal Virgin Mary mother and abusive father. With a subject matter as grand as Life and Death (with a capital L and D), I didn't entirely expect anything new or profound, but I had expected to be at least moved. But, I have to say, I loved the dinos.
