Watching it again, the problem with The Social Network is even more obvious here. Zallian & Sorkin puts a lot of bells and whistles on a very low stakes, unexciting narrative. The direction is fantastic, but the acting ranges from poor (Hill, Wright) to just mediocre (Pitt, Hoffman).
