Reminded me of those demos video card manufacturers make to show off their hardware: technically impressive but butt-ugly and tedious if you watch for more than a few minutes. I admired the realism of the backgrounds and environmental effects but not for one minute did I engage with it. I enjoyed the story a lot more when it was called A BUG'S LIFE (and yes, I'm aware A BUG'S LIFE is a pastiche of THE SEVEN SAMURAI).
