Somehow had never actually ever watched this film all the way through before this evening. Classic corn from Capra that works despite its quaintness and overbearing americana values. Stewart is again the perfect everyman here as George Bailey a man who doesn't understand just how rich he is in a certain way. Often hokey but one can see its appeal and why its become annual viewing for so many.
