I don't care about baseball at all. Still this movie got me invested. I really did want to know what happens. I was twisting on my seat and, at times, giggling. The obvious tear jerks didn't bother me, because otherwise the story and the characters felt so real. There were places where the movie falls short on some of the characters, but core of it works really well. I wonder how it holds up if you know the story...
