There are clues in the Prometheus trailer that connect with "Alien," primarily the unmistakable image of the so"Space Jockey" encountered by Lambert, Kane and Dallas. The jockey is perched in a command chair, controlling a telescope or weapon. These items are visible in the Prometheus trailer, as well as the Jockey's ship taking off and crashing.
