About
Wuthering Heights
I think Arnold's biggest mistake was the casting for Catherine and Heathcliff's adult roles. Glave and Beer are so astounding that I just kept wanting them to come back during the second half. Though a bit overlong, it's still a great reading of Brontë's classic: no ghosts, no Cathy, just a raw panorama of the cruelty of the Yorkshire moors, as well as of men.
