While Plissken's surf-race with Eddie is improbable, and some VFX could be more refined (besides poorly-rendered underwater-allegory), this 90s update is amazingly applicable to the time it depicts. "My future is now," couldn't be more apropos. Again, Snake's view of the "moral" disenfranchised reveals that positions of power reveal nothing new about their disloyalty for the future/"NOW." Just as clever as NYC.
