For a Few Dollars More

Although the "tell" is vibrant, there are too many miraculous happenings within the plot which equate to a feeling of contrariety. On the one hand there are great gritty moments which really sing, but on the other there's a feeling of shorthand. I was left in love with the characters but not caring for the movie, interested in the themes but not concerned with the moments. "Because of the damn trains, damn 'em."
