Initially I thought my comment would be something like "the book was so much better...", but honestly the movie completed the ideas I had come up with while reading Jack Kerouac's masterpiece. But that's it. A film about a book. With gorgeous images, which were expected of Walter Salles after "The Motorcycle Diaries". I'm glad I watched it but I wouldn't have done it without having read the original...
